CityLight Fellowship is an interdenominational independent church in Ahmedabad, Gujarat headed by Rev. Sunil F. Kolhar & comprises of a group of believers, who gather to worship Jesus Christ, our Saviour, and experience His presence in our midst. The purpose of this fellowship is
to worship God, study His Word, pray, love one another, help each other partake of the baptism and the Lord's supper ,to learn how to live as godly people , and to be equipped to evangelize to the world . Youth Ministry:
The City Light Youth Ministry/ Youth group seeks to help youth share their gifts, grow in life skills, develop a positive self-image, overcome prejudices, develop respect for differences, serve those in need, and foster social change, participate in the sacraments, develop a personal spirituality and prayer life, apply Christian faith to daily life, integrate Christian values, participate in the Church, and develop a personal relationship with Jesus. It is a great way for the youth to grow spiritually, make friends through our common belief in Christ, have fun as we explore our faith and make use of the gifts the Lord has provided us with. The Church choir comprises entirely of the youth and we lead the congregation every Sunday with the Hymns as well as the praise and worship choruses. We use our talents to glorify the name of God through music by playing different instruments and singing. We meet every Saturday for practice where we enjoy spending time together as friends playing music or even discussing everyday life and how the Bible can help us through the thick and thin. There is also a separate Sunday known as Youth Sunday where the entire service is conducted by the youth themselves. We put up a mime or a skit to pass across the message of Christ to everyone present. We are a family in ourselves and are always ready to welcome new members within this bond we share and make new friends through Christ and spread the message of Jesus.
