What is Methodist Youth Fellowship (MYF)? MYF an youth organisation of Methodist Church in India. PREAMBLE:

The Methodist Youth Fellowship seeks to aid in establishing Christ's kingdom among all people and in all areas of life, especially within and through the agency of the church, to share the abundant life of Christ with Youth through evangelism, education and social service; to enlist all th

e youth of the church in some form of christian service and to seek with the youth of all lands fellowship and mutual help in the building christian world order. PURPOSE:

i) To lead the youth to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to deepen the personal lives of youth through Bible study and devotion. ii) To challenge members to tithe and be good stewards of their time and talents. iii) To increase the effectiveness of the youth by means of spiritual retreats, seminars, workshop, camps, conferences, etc. iv) To increase the membership in the MYF through personal contacts and in a variety of activities which will meet the needs of the youth and draw them into the life and fellowship of the church. v) To work in co-operation with the other church and secular organization in the promotion of avenue of work for and with youth and in a programme of outreach to the community, nation and world. ORGANISATION:

our myf is a progressive and from jorence myf and we have accepted completly to its preamble. it is our aim that a methodist young must be responsible to their church and serve it. i think church is our mother for example some people say that it is our mother church become as every mother hopes something from their childrens. so church also hopes from youngs. the youngs must be responsible to church i hope we young take this responsibility better the youth are pillars of church and let us pray that these pillars may be join always in each church and in god.
