St. John's Church in the Wilderness St. John’s Church also known as the Church in the Wilderness or Mission Church is located in Sikandra. It was built by Rev. C.T. Hoernle. Rev.

The foundation stone of the church was laid by Rt. Daniel Wilson Lord Bishop of Calcutta on 2nd December 1840.
