DEAFITING THE GIANT

1 Samuel 17:1-7 NIV
Now the Philistines gathered their forces for war and assembled at Sokoh in Judah. They pitched camp at Ephes Dammim, between Sokoh and Azekah. [2] Saul and the Israelites assembled and camped in the Valley of Elah and drew up their battle line to meet the Philistines. [3] The Philistines occupied one hill and the Israelites another, with the valley between them. [4] A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. His height was six cubits and a span. [5] He had a bronze helmet on his head and wore a coat of scale armor of bronze weighing five thousand shekels; [6] on his legs he wore bronze greaves, and a bronze javelin was slung on his back. [7] His spear shaft was like a weaver’s rod, and its iron point weighed six hundred shekels. His shield bearer went ahead of him.

SEVEN KEYS TO DEFEAT THE GIANTS.

1. Show up for the battle and say iam ready.
2. Dont run from the battle or from your pronlems.
3. Face your problems
4. Do not be afraid (Deut 20:1), (Deut 31:6)
5. Dont wory about what other people think/say about you (1Samuel 17:28)
6. Choose the weapon (1Samuel 17:38-39).
7. Do what you can with what is in your hand (2Timothy 1:14)

It was a blessed weekend hosting the National Apostle, Apostle Kennedy. Indeed Rosh Pinah ECG TJN Church and the entire community was blessed and our lives shall never be the same again. May God Almighty bless our Father Major1 for allowing his son the National Apostle to abandon his busy schedule to come and minister to us here in Rosh Pinah. We do not take this visit for granted it really means a lot to us.

Once again thanks Apostle Kennedy Haoseb for a visit.

Exodus 3:2-5 (NKJV):
2. And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed.
3. Then Moses said, I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.
4. So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, Moses, Moses! And he said, Here I am.
5. Then He said, Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.

When you are called by God you have to loose something or to let go of something. Moses let go of his sandals....what have you left when God called you? Or you are pretending to be in church?
