Dear friends and faithful prayer partners,

In these difficult and uncertain days, we ask you to stand with us in prayer for the Association of Baptist Churches and all our congregations across the land.

Please pray for God’s protection over our churches, pastors, leaders, and every family. Ask the Lord to guard our people, calm anxious hearts, and fill them with courage, peace, and steadfast faith. May His peace reign in our cities and communities, and may His light continue to shine through every church.

We also ask for your prayers for my wife, Rasha, and I. We are currently stranded abroad, having traveled for a conference, and are unable to return home. Please pray that the Lord will open the doors for a safe return and grant us His peace and comfort while we are away from our people and families.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer. The Lord remains our refuge and our hope🙏🏼

Our Arab community in Israel — nearly 2 million people — is living through a deep crisis of violence and organized crime that has stolen peace and security from everyday life.
In 2025, 252 people were murdered, making it the deadliest year on record, and already around 25 people have been killed this year, all by shootings, sometimes in the middle of the day, in our towns and villages.
This violence is no longer distant; it is reaching into families, affecting young people, and even touching church members and believers, creating fear, grief, and a growing loss of hope.
Too often, the police and authorities are perceived as unable to stop the ongoing cycle of murder and weapons-related crime.

We invite friends around the world to stand with us in prayer — for the protection of life, for justice and wisdom for leaders, for comfort and healing for grieving families, and for God’s peace to break through the darkness affecting our people. 🙏
