ttività, il Fondo ha assistito decine di anziani, molti dei quali sopravvissuti alla Shoah, sia con elargizioni mensili che con aiuti ad hoc. Il Fondo è gestito esclusivamente da volontari, e non è oberato da spese di ufficio o segreteria, cosicchè le donazioni ricevute sono interamente devolute ai beneficiari del Fondo. Il nostro impegno è teso a seguire l'invocazione del Re Davide : Non mi rigettare nel tempo della vecchiaia; proprio quando la mia forza viene meno, non mi lasciare. (Salmo 71/9)

FAIB (Elderly Italian Fund for Charity) was created in 1989 as a charitable fund of the Italian Jewish community in Israel to assist old people in need within the Community. Over the three decades of activity, the Fund has assisted dozens of seniors, many of them Holocaust survivors, either by monthly donations or by providing "ad hoc" aid. The Fund is managed exclusively by volunteers, and is not burdened by any office or secretarial expenses, so that the donations are entirely devolved to the beneficiaries of the Fund. (Psalm 71/9)

קנאק ( קרן נזקקים איטלקית קשישים) נולד בשנת 1989 כקרן צדקה של חברת יהודי איטליה בישראל כדי לסייע לקשישים נזקקים בקהילה.
במהלך שלושת העשורים של פעילותה, הקרן סייעה לעשרות קשישים, רבים מהם ניצולי שואה, הן בתרומות חודשיות והן בסיוע חד פעמי.
הקרן מנוהלת אך ורק על ידי מתנדבים , ואין לה כל הוצאה משרדית, כך שהתרומות מגיעות בשלמותן לנתמכים.
