From Dr. Stephen Daniel Arnoff, our CEO, for Yom Yerushalayim.

From Dr. Stephen Daniel Arnoff, FJC CEO:
"As Shabbat approaches, after the din of yesterday’s Flag March — there’s this: We love Jerusalem. It is in our name, in the name of our campus, it is in our soul. We sit in the heart of the city, and its heart beats in us. Jerusalem Day - Yom Yerushalayim — was originally about unification, and we encourage all of us to think of the barriers that divide us, and how we can work together to tear them down. Jerusalem is a city, yes, but also an idea, a philosophy, a prayer for the future."

With great sorrow we share the sad news of the death of one of the founders and visionaries of the Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center, Yitzchak “Yitz” Jacobsen ז״ל who died suddenly yesterday. We mourn with his family and friends as we reflect on a man beloved by so many for his kindness, service, and friendship on a campus he built with a love of life and the Jewish people in Israel and around the world.

יהי זכרו ברוך - May his memory be for a blessing
