There are few words to express thanks tonight God and you that we are home safe. Amid the horrors unfolding in the Middle East we owe thanks to the Lord, our Bishop, our parish families, multiple convents, our families, friends and loved ones: all of you who prayed us home. Thanks be to the Good Lord and Our Lady.

Dear Friends, we are in the final process of confirming our flights. Thank you for your continued prayers! Our original flights were cancelled in Tel Aviv and now we are taking the bus in the morning to Jordan and will fly out of Amman. It’s very wonderful to see this unfold. We have been so peaceful here in Jerusalem. But we miss you! See you soon! Please send your angels to accompany us on our way to Jordan and back home! Prayers for all of you! Saint Mary of Jesus Crucified, pray for us!

We are safe here this evening at the Notre Dame center in Jerusalem. The news reports in the US do not necessarily communicate our experience. Our flight is on for Wednesday morning. Thanks for your continued prayers for us. Our Lady is taking care of us. Father Schultz is making miraculous progress!

Dear Friends! Greetings and prayers from the Notre Dame Pontifical Institute in Jerusalem. We are very safe here. This morning after Mass at Garden of Gethsemane we returned to hotel as a precaution. Wonderful exhibit here on the Shroud of Turin. We are taking our meals here today. Security is strong, and earlier there were some sirens but now like normal. Some buildings were closed earlier and some streets closed. Israeli security is very strong. The events of the day occurred in the south, in Gaza. Yes there are things near Jerusalem, but we are monitoring the situation and following State Department guidance. Thank you for your prayers. I will update you. Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church Prayers now from our Holy Hour in the chapel here.

Thank you for the prayers. Fr. Schultz update on Wednesday evening:

“Dear Friends - Today, there wasn't much change in Father Schultz's condition. He is unconscious but stable. He still needs your prayers as complications are a grave danger. We should know in a day or two if major surgery is required. After that, it's we wait to see how quickly he can regain consciousness and step down from the ICU.We're all reading the comments, and it's wonderful to see how many people Father Schultz has touched through his priestly ministry. Our family is so grateful for the prayers and support. Now, it takes love and humility to pray for God's will to be done. And James 5:16 says "pray for one another, that you may be healed."Please pray for both. We can ask for a miracle while knowing that our Heavenly Father knows what is best for all of us.We trust in God's providence, His love, and His mercy. We'll post another update tomorrow morning. God bless you all.”

From Wednesday midday:
“Today Father Schultz is stable but not responsive. The doctors are still watching for complications. Because of how severe his condition is, he is still in danger of death. We appreciate the prayers and we know he wouldn’t be where he is without them. There is less likelihood he will need additional surgery, which is also good news.

When Father is awake, I will read all your comments to him.

Some housekeeping: please don’t call or visit the hospital! They have received many calls and this interrupts their work. Updates will be here a few times a day.

Thanks again for sharing this so people can join us in prayer, and thanks for all your support. 🙏🏼”
