ביום ראשון האחרון התקיים בבית הכנסת ערב לכבוד ר"ח שבט בהשתתפות הרב *ארז משה דורון*, שדיבר על "*צמיחה מתוך קושי - מדברים מהחיים*" ועל התחדשות, ובנוכחות למעלה ממאה איש. לאחר השיעור התקיים שיח כנה עם הרב על זוגיות, אמונה, פחדים ותקווה.

תודה רבה לרב שגם מכר את ספרו החדש, ותודה ענקית לשרית על הארגון המופתי, כולל המרק והסנגריה החמה!

The Ezrat Israel Community of the German Colony in Jerusalem stands together with the Sydney community and with Jews in Australia and around the world in profound shock at the horrific massacre at Bondi Beach, on the eve of lighting the Hanukkah candle. The community prays for the recovery of the wounded among all the sick of the people of Israel and shares in the grief of the bereaved families. In the spirit of the Torah portions of Joseph and his brothers—“We are all sons of one man”—our fate is shared by all of us, wherever we may be. Our enemies rise up against us and seek to strike at us, but the light of the candles obligates us to continue illuminating the public domain; even when it is darkened by antisemitism and a deafening silence, the Jewish voice will light it up. Be strong and courageous, and do not lose heart.
