Despite the main baptism site at Yardenit being closed for safety reasons, nothing could stop our Romanian community from celebrating this sacred milestone. Guided by providence to a beautiful location along the Jordan River, we gathered to witness six lives transformed by grace.
Accompanied by traditional Jewish accordion melodies, Sergiu, Nicolae, Luba, Tania, Adriela, and Lidia stepped into the waters to seal their covenant with God.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" 2 Corinthians 5:17

STATEMENT ABOUT THE CLOSING OF THE IF CHURCHES
On behalf of the Israel Field of Seventh-day Adventists, I would like to inform our members and the general public that for the safety reasons, the Seventh-day Adventist congregations will not have the face-to-face meetings on Sabbath, April 04, 2026.
The only exception are the following churches:
Ashdod
Jerusalem International
Jerusalem Romanian
Eilat
In consultation with the local church leadership, we came to the conclusion that bomb shelters
are accessible for the above-mentioned congregations and in a safety distance.
Also, we have the confirmation that the local leaders will take all necessary measures for the
safety of the people in attendance.
In addition, we are requesting that our members continue to be prudent in all things and avoid
all unnecessary travelling during the days of intense military activities.
Our local communities, under the leadership of pastors, will organize online meetings adapted to
the needs of members. Thank you for attending these gatherings and to pray, sing, and uplift the
glory of God’s name during these challenging times.
On Thursday, April 9, Pastors will meet again to study the overall situation, in order to determine
what the best decision would be for the following Sabbat, April 11, in compliance with the
legislation and with the highest priority of taking care of children and members.
May our heavenly Father be our protection. We are praying for every person attending our
worship services. May the grace of God inspire us during the Sabbath, April 4, and transform our
hearts, so that we can continue our ministry with joy, hope, and peace.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
In light of the current security situation and the ongoing alerts across the country, the safety of our members and delegates is our absolute priority. Following the decision of the Administration (ADCOM), we are implementing the following measures:
Due to the high risks associated with travel at this time, we strongly advise all members to avoid any movement and remain in secure areas. Please follow all instructions from the Home Front Command. For today’s worship, we encourage all districts to connect via their local online platforms.
The General Assembly originally scheduled for today will now take place exclusively via Zoom starting at 17:00.
The Zoom link and specific instructions will be sent directly to all official delegates through their respective pastors and church communication channels.
We thank you for your patience and for your quick response in adapting to these emergency measures.
As we face these moments of uncertainty, we hold onto the promise of Psalm 121:3-4: "He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps Israel will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep."

We stand together in prayer for our members, their families, and for peace and protection over the entire country.

Blessed moments at the Spanish Adventist Church in Tel Aviv! 🇪🇸🇮🇱
It was an honor to visit this vibrant community and share the progress of our digital mission. We had the opportunity to present the latest projects from Hope Channel Israel and our growing Adventist Israel Facebook community.
Our mission is to bring a message of hope and faith to every screen, connecting people through the power of media. From the beautiful songs to the warm fellowship with every member, this visit reminded us that we are one family in Christ, regardless of the language we speak. Dear members,
We are informing you that the IF General Assembly will be held on February 28 at the Tel-Aviv Russian church. The meeting starts at 17:00 and we plan to finish by 19:00.
According to the IF members list, each local church must elect and present its delegates. Please complete this process as soon as possible. The deadline to submit your delegates is February 7.
