Question: What do you get when you take food from a cancelled program + dedicated volunteers + collaboration w/ an amazing organization?
Answer: A delicious act of appreciation for our brave soldiers!

Meira Golbert Bar-lev and Sofia Binah & Barukh Kerzhner (Sofia Binah Gordon & Boris Kerzhner) graciously sponsored a shul program @ Shirat David - שירת דוד scheduled for a few days ago.
Food was purchased.
Plans were made.
And then - Shabbat morning happened...

Fast-forward to today: Rivka Farkas ( מועצה מקומית אפרת Efrat Municipality resident) contacts our dear friend & member Yosef Joey Aharon (the Meals for Heores master through Just One Chesed) looking for food for search & rescue soldiers stationed in Yerushalayim. Yosef reached out via local groups looking for someone to assist with this amazing opportunity.

Enter Eva Gonsher & her dear parents, Rosemary & Dr. Peter Warschawski

What once started as "food for an SD program" was now transformed into "Mishloach Manot food for our incredible Chayalim"

Within an hour - Eva and the Warschawskis hand-delivered the food to Yerushalayim - all, of course, with the fitting recognition to the original sponsors and their loved ones.
