The death has occurred of Gerry (Sean) O'Reilly, Virginia, County Cavan, and formerly of Ballyalla, Ennis, County Clare, and Queens, New York, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, 5th of June, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Sadly missed by his children Conor, Eileen, Finn, and Orla, and his grandchildren, Rian and Thea, his brothers, his sisters, extended family, and dear friends.

The death has occurred peacefully of Veronica Philomena O' Connor (nee O'Reilly), Gauden Rd, Clapham, London and late of Corragary, Maudabawn, Co. Cavan/ Virginia, in her 98th year.
Predeceased by her husband Bernard and her daughter Angela, her brothers Gerard, Alphonsus and Jerome and her sisters Margaret, Moria, Christina, and Nuala.
Dearly missed by her daughters Kathleen, Veronica, Rosemarie, Mary and Patricia, her son Robert, her sister Eithne ( Virginia) , her beloved and cherished grandchildren - Tadgh, Max, Jack, Milo, Sean, Julia and Livia.

The death has occurred of Paddy (Patrick) Kavanagh, The Meadows, Ballyjamesduff, County Cavan, and late of Rivervalley, Swords, County Dublin, peacefully after a short illness at the Mater Hospital Dublin on the 20th of May 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents, Joan and Tommy.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife and best friend, Valerie, his loving children, Donna, Stephen, Jo, and Mark, and his treasured grandchildren, Alaani, Holly, Koda, Amy, Alex, Oscar, and adored great-grandchild, Sofia.
Sadly missed by his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and great-grandchild, his daughters-in-law Lisa, and Adela and sons-in-law Justin and Damien, his brother Brian, his sisters, Pauline, Linda, and Sharon, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, and friends.

Beloved partner of Jimmy, cherished mother of Lorna and Helen, and devoted grandmother to Heidi, Caitlin, Evie-Lou and James.

Anna O’Neill (née O’Neill), Joanna Cottage, Beherna, Virginia, Co. Cavan, and formerly Barrick Hill, Cavan Town, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital on 15th May 2026, surrounded by her loving family, in her 92nd year.

Predeceased by her parents Alice and Hughie, sisters Kathleen and Patsy, and her brothers Eugene, Teddie and Michael.

Much loved wife of Joe for 72 years and cherished mother of Landa (Noone), Colin, Brendan, Stephen and Eugenea.

Adored grandmother of Shane, Tanya, Rory, Keiran, Phelim, Declan, Sara, Rachel, Sinead, Anna, Harry and Ruby, and cherished great-grandmother of JJ, Fin, Lillian, Cara, Yasmin and Ryan.

Predeceased by her husband James, and her daughters Ailish, Irene and Maureen, and her grandson Cormac. Also her parents, Jane and Peter, and her sisters Brigid, Annie, Jenny, and her brother Peter.

Much loved mother of Carmel (Gerry), Thomas (Gabrielle), Jane (Peter), James, Peter, Rosie (Aidan) and Bernie (Fergus). A much adored and loved Granny Murtagh to her 18 grandchildren, and cherished great-grandmother to her 20 great-grandchildren.
