Church of Ireland Parishes of Tullamore, Clara, Tyrrellspass & Rahan Welcome! The Tullamore Union of Parishes is an Anglican church in Offaly, made up of the parishes of Tyrrellspass, Clara, Rahan, and Tullamore.

Everyone is welcome here! Set in the heart of the Midlands, Offaly's county town of Tullamore provides the base for ministry serving the parish churches of Tyrrellspass, Clara, Tullamore, and the ancient Christian monastic site and parish of Rahan. There are three centres of worship in regular use in the Tullamore Union of Parishes, St Catherine’s, Tullamore, St. Brigid’s, Clara, and St Sinian’s,

Tyrrellspass. As part of the wider Church family we seek to support and encourage one another in our Christian journey through Sunday worship and private prayer. Our fellowship is also strengthened by a programme of social activities within the Tullamore Union throughout the year. Within the life and worship of the Church, there is a great emphasis placed on the family, with close contact and co-operation between the Tullamore Union of Parishes and our church school. We welcome all to worship God with us, whether from the churches of the Anglican Communion or from different faith traditions. We like to think that our church buildings are places of hospitality and peace where, as a church family we are seeking to make friendships with God and each other in a spirit of thanksgiving, service and love.

As a Church of Ireland Anglican community, we believe deeply that God is truly with us, offering unwavering hope and peace in the face of the violence, racism, and war seen across our world, as well as in the midst of our own personal struggles. We are a place to belong and a church to call home for all who come to seek that comfort and strength.

Come share in the harmony and revel in the melody! We are delighted to invite you to an evening featuring the Rød Aalboys as they perform a blend of Irish classics and Scandinavian repertoire. The concert takes place at St. Catherine’s Church, Tullamore, this July 15th at 7.30 PM. Admission is free, with donations in support of the church warmly welcomed.
