Dear friends
The United Beach Missions is back in Tramore from 16 – 23 July 2022.
Their activities will start at 3pm on Sunday afternoon and then each day at 11:30am, 2:30pm with great family activities in the evening. On Wednesday night there will be a teenage 5-aside soccer and volley competition at 8pm.
However, we are really excited about the return of the non-residential surf camp commencing Friday 22nd July @ 3:30pm- 8pm and Saturday 23rd July from 12 noon to 8pm.
We are delighted that John McCarthy, who is originally from Tramore, now running a surf school in Lahinch, Co Claire will be joining us. He is 3 times senior surfing champion of Ireland and European bronze medallist. Surfing has taken John around the world but he now surfs at the cliffs of Moher, one of the highest sea cliffs in the world. As well as going on a surfing journey, John’s gone on a spiritual journey which he will share with us in a relevant way from the Bible. John is a leader in the North Claire Community Church.
Friday night entails great beach games and BBQ with John speaking and video clips of his amazing surfing activities. Saturday’s activities start at 12 noon when we will be surfing the waves of Tramore. Please bring the 25 euros with you on Saturday, meeting at the Oceanic Surf School who will have complete responsibility for this activity. Please text Paul Quinlan to book in as soon as possible as this event is just over 2 weeks away and let your friends know about the camp on your social media. Paul’s contact details are 089 4127822 or 00353 894 127 822 or email [email protected]
Please feel free to print this flyer off and circulate it among your friends.
Upon booking you will be sent a consent form which needs to be completed by the adult responsible for you and brought with you to the surf camp.
Looking forward to a great time!
Steve Wright, Paul Quinlan & John McCarthy
