This coming Sunday, May 10th we will look at ‘The parent-child relationship’ in our family series. Charles Spurgeon reflecting on ‘Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it’ … ..wrote train up a child in the way he should go but make sure you are going the same same way yourself.
The apostle Paul under the inspiration of the Spirit wrote ‘Follow me as I follow Christ’.
It is a privilege, to show and lead the way to Christ for our children. May God continue to bless and strengthen our families.

We welcome you to serve the Lord together with us.
The bible encourages us to use our gifts in the local church, to encouage each other and to build each other up in the faith.
We take heed of Hebrews 10:19-25 and the wisdom of the Scriptures, as God welcomes us into a new and livng way through Christ.
What a statemnent ... we can draw near to God with boldness, with a true heart, with bodies washed and a consicince cleansed ... all because because Jesus gives us access.
So, let us not forsake the coming together as a body of belivers as some are in the habit of doing. Instaead, let us come together, consider one another and cling to the confession of our faith.

19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
Hebrews 10:19–25.

This morning I want to take you to thecross and ask you to listen. Around the cross there are voices: the voice ofPilate, the voice of the religious leaders, the voice of the crowd, the voiceof the mockers, the voice of the centurion, and above them all the voice ofJesus.
