Please pray for the Church of Ireland in Cork, Cloyne and Ross Electoral College which meets for the first of three meetings next Wednesday.

Almighty God,
you have given your Holy Spirit to the Church to lead us into all truth:
Bless with the Spirit's grace and presence
the members of the Electoral College for Cork, Cloyne and Ross.
Keep them steadfast in faith and united in love,
that they may manifest your glory and prepare the way of your kingdom;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

🙏 Next Wednesday, May 20th, the Electoral College will gather for their first meeting to begin the process of electing our next Bishop of Cork, Cloyne and Ross.
This initial gathering will focus on prayerful reflection and consideration as the college begins their discernment. The second meeting, on Friday, June 19th, is when the election will take place.

As this process begins, we invite our parish family and all in the diocese to join in prayer for wisdom, discernment, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Bishop Paul Colton served us faithfully for 27 years. Now we pray that God will raise up the right shepherd to lead us into this new chapter.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." - Psalm 23:1
