𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗶𝗺 - 𝗠𝘁 𝟮𝟲:𝟰𝟬 🙏
Eucharistic Adoration is the veneration and worship given to Jesus in the exposed Blessed Sacrament. During times specifically reserved for Eucharistic Adoration, the consecrated Host is put on public display in a monstrance. People then attend for each of the designated hours to adore, make reparation, and to worship our divine Lord, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament.
When you commit to a weekly hour of adoration, you are responding to the call Jesus made in the Garden of Gethsemane, “Could you not keep watch for one hour with me?” By giving honour and glory to God in Eucharistic Adoration, you are touching the heart of the Church and her salvific mission expressed in the Lord’s prayer. – Hallowed be Thy name, Thy Kingdom come; Thy will be done…

Lord, You are hidden in the Blessed Sacrament, in the tabernacles of the world. You are Jesus Christ, true God and true man. You are our eternal God who always was and always will be. You are Jesus who came to redeem mankind. You have promised to be with us always, even till the end of time. This is how much You love us, despite our sinfulness. Wake us up to Your presence in our lives. May Your will be done in and through us always on life’s journey. Help us to place our trust in You, the one who never disappoints.

𝗘𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 – 𝗧𝗼 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 🙏
I may not be able to find all the words
To express what is really in my heart.
I may even be distracted and feel a little weary…
I come before You in silence, Lord,
Knowing that You know my innermost thoughts and desires.
I ask our Blessed Mother Mary to be with me as I keep You company today.
Through the intercession of Mary, I want to renew my love for You.
Please touch my heart and my soul with Your love, joy, and peace.
A peace that the world cannot give. Amen

If the Pope himself were to give you a special invitation to visit Him in the Vatican, this hour would be nothing in comparison to the honour and dignity that Jesus Himself bestows upon you with the invitation of spending one hour a week with Him in the Blessed Sacrament. “The divine Eucharist bestows upon the Christian people an incomparable dignity” (Mysterium Fidei – Pope Paul VI).

With transforming mercy, Jesus makes our heart one with His. “Jesus teaches those who come to Him to be like Himself, gentle and humble of heart, and to seek not their own will, but the will of God.”

If Jesus were visible in the Church, everyone would run to welcome Him. But He remains hidden in the Sacred Host, under the appearance of Bread, because He leaves us free to decide for Him, and He is calling us to faith. “The Blessed Sacrament is the ‘Living Heart’ of each of our Churches, and it is our very sweet duty to honour and adore in the Blessed Host, which our eyes see, the Incarnate Word, whom they cannot see.”

Just as you can’t be exposed to the sun without receiving its rays, neither can you come to Jesus exposed in the Blessed Sacrament without receiving the divine rays of His grace, His love, and His peace. "Christ is truly the Emmanuel, that is, “God is with us” day and night, He is in our midst. He dwells with us full of grace.”
