We’re praying for all students these days.

Today, especially those starting the Junior and Leaving Cert exams. Remembering all those in the middle of GCSEs, ALevels and other exams at this time too. 🙏 🕯️

Exam season is here — and you don't have to face it alone. 🙏📚

To every student sitting the Junior Cert, the Leaving Cert, GCSEs, A-Levels, or any exam that's been keeping you up at night — bring it to God. He's not just interested in your Sundays. He's in the revision room with you, in the late nights, and sitting right beside you when you pick up that pen.
Share this prayer with a student who needs it today. Light a candle. Ask St. Joseph of Cupertino — the patron saint of students and exams — to intercede for you. Yes, there's actually a saint for this.

You've worked hard. Now trust God with the rest.

"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." — 1 Peter 5:7

The 2026 Three Day Pilgrimage season has begun at Lough Derg.

This beautiful reel from the opening day captures something of the prayer, hope and quiet faith that draws thousands of pilgrims to Station Island each summer.

Pilgrimage invites us to step away from the busyness of life and make space for prayer, reflection and encounter with God. Perhaps this summer you might consider making the journey to Lough Derg yourself.

As the pilgrimage season continues over the coming months, we ask you to keep all pilgrims, volunteers and staff in your prayers. May all who come to this sacred place find peace, strength and renewal.

🔥 ECUMENICAL SERVICE FOR PENTECOST 🔥

The Diocese of Clogher warmly invites you to an Ecumenical Service for Pentecost on Sunday 24 May 2026 at 3.00pm in St. Macartan’s Church (The Forth Chapel), Clogher, Co. Tyrone.

This special service will be led by the Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher, Dr Ian Ellis, and Bishop Larry Duffy, as we gather in prayer and unity to celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit.

Pentecost calls us together as Christians — united in faith, hope and witness.
All are welcome to join us for this prayerful celebration of unity and fellowship across our churches and communities.

Our Diocesan Retreat Day on Saturday (23rd May) is one of the remaining opportunities to visit Lough Derg this month before the Three Day Pilgrimage begins on 29th May.

Another event that ight be of interest to many is the upcoming visit of Archbishop Eamon Martin & Archbishop John McDowell for the Annual Day of Friendship and Prayer, next Wednesday - 20th April.

We still have three One Day Retreats remaining - including our special 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, our Day of Friendship & Prayer on the 20th, and a Quiet Day on the 22nd — so there's still plenty of opportunity to make it out to the island this May.
