Longford Methodist Church is warm hearted towards people of all backgrounds and nationalities. Our church is a community of people who are drawn together by Gods love as they know it, expressed in the story of Jesus - his birth and life, teaching, suffering, death and resurrection. We seek to follow the way of Jesus and live to share Gods love through action and word in the world. Because this experience of Jesus Christ has so shaped our lives, we invite others to share in the love, life and hope that is freely given to us. SUNDAY SERVICE 12MD. Every first Sunday Holy Communion.Every fourth Sunday Fellowship Tea/Coffee after Service. SUNDAY SCHOOL - Alternative Sundays during service. YOUTH CLUB - Alternative Saturdays from 8pm to 9pm. YOUTH BIBLE STUDY _ Every second Sunday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Babble and Play - Parent and Toddler Group meet alternative Wednesdays from 10am - 11.30am. BIBLE STUDY EVERY TUESDAY NIGHT 8PM -9PM

We were pleased to join Christian Aid Ireland to celebrate the opening of their new office in Belfast! 🎉

It was a great opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues, and to celebrate the shared mission that brings our organisations together - working for a fairer world where everyone can thrive!

Christian Aid Ireland is our sister agency, and we’re proud to co-fund our partner CASM in Honduras alongside them. It’s a reminder of the difference we can make when we work together in solidarity with communities around the world.

Communities on the Nepal–Tibet border are facing unimaginable devastation.

Massive flash floods have swept through communities, destroying homes, submerging roads and sweeping away bridges. Families have been torn apart, loved ones are missing, and entire communities have been left cut off.

At least 350 people have lost their lives, with more than 1,300 still missing.

As Christians, we believe every life is precious. When our neighbours are suffering, we are called to stand with them - to show compassion, bring hope and put our faith into action.
