Founded in Nashville, Tennessee in 1860
Serving in Diocese of Limerick, Ireland since 2016

Eight centuries ago St. Dominic de Guzman, inspired by the Holy Spirit in response to the needs of his time, founded an Order with the mission of preaching for the salvation of souls. Dominic’s love for God and neighbor continues to inspire the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation today, as they joyfully embrace the Church’s call to the New Evangelization. Through their teaching apostolate, the Sisters serve over over 15,000 students in nearly 50 schools in the United States, Canada, Australia, Italy, Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands.

Some of our young adults, and those from around the country, came with us on our Upward Call pilgrimage this June. We visited the beautiful Bologna before seeing St. Carlos Acutis in Assisi, followed by a scenic trip to Rome and finished with a serene time in Bracciano.
Thank You Lord for enriching us with such beauty and treasures throughout history and today! St. Carlos Acutis, pray for us!

We've been busy this summer! Stay tuned to see what we've been up to!

Firstly, we joined some of the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal in Lough Derg for a time of prayer and pilgrimage with the intention of praying for vocations to consecrated life.
Praise God it was a very blessed and beautiful time 🙏
