Blessing of Pilgrimage Candle.

Day 4. The day began for Pilgrims with the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the Basilica of St Pius X. Our Priests were joined by the priests of the Diocese of Ossory for the celebration of this Sacrament.
In the afternoon we gathered in St Joseph’s Chapel for the closing Mass of the Pilgrimage. Fr Johnny Moore celebrated our Mass at which we blessed the Pilgrimage Candle. The youth offered a reflection during the Mass.
Fr Gorman, Pilgrimage Director thanked all the staff for their tremendous work and support in organising the pilgrimage, he thanked all involved with the music ministry, the priests who travelled, all staff who cared so well for the assisted pilgrims, to all the Youth leaders, the youth and all pilgrims.
After Mass the pilgrims processed to the candle shrine tonight the Pilgrimage candle.
As we prepare to return home we wish to assure all at hike that your intentions were remembered at all the liturgies celebrated. our Lady of Lourdes and St Bernadette pray for. 🙏

Day 3 in Lourdes. Another very hot day at the Shrine! Today our Pilgrims joined the Diocese of Ossory for Mass at the Grotto Mass was celebrated by Bishop Philip Boyce, OCD, bishop emeritus of Raphoe the preacher was Fr Tony O’Connor of Ossory.
Pilgrims went to the Baths and the Water Gesture liturgy and in the afternoon took part in the Eucharistic Prayer and adoration.
The youth were servers at this liturgy. In the evening the youth and assisted pilgrims enjoyed the annual party. Our Lady and St Bernadette, pray for us.
