Mc Grath School of Speech and Drama will recommence classes in September, in the Glenswilly GAA club house. Suitable for primary and secondary school students. Contact Karen on 087 9186271 to check availability.

Adoration takes place on Thursdays at St Columba’s. You always welcome to pop in and spend some time with the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. You might also consider committing to an hour, details are available on the notice board. In particular we need a few more people to cover during the day or to be able to cover for those who might be unable to attend their hour.

Donegal Pro Life Annual Church Gate Collection takes place Countywide next weekend 16th/17th Aug"

Parish Collections. Thanks to all who help prepare the collections, but a few extra people to help would be great. Currently there are 2 teams who count. 2 weeks out of 4. We also need people to be present when the collection is sealed. This is only a matter of two people being present after Mass to seal the bag. If you are willing, please speak to Fr. Boyle

Paddy McDaid Annual Honda Run, Sunday 17th of August, 2025. Proceeds in aid of Foxhall Development. Registration from 12noon. Start 1pm sharp.

Holy Water Fonts Sanitised and refreshed on 15th August

Foxhall I am sure word has spread that Foxhall Community Hall is now once again open for bookings for any classes, parties, activities, workshops, meetings, clubs, groups, family gatherings & community events from September onwards and we have planned some social events ourselves for the coming months. Please contact Elaine our booking Officer for any enquiries and viewings on 086 1611240 or email: [email protected]

During the remainder month and into the next Month August we are busy selling tickets for the 10th Annual Paddy McDaid Memorial Honda Run which we have been granted a permit for which will take place on the 17/08/2025 – all welcome to Foxhall to support or drop in for a cuppa and chat.
This year their committee has very kindly decided to donate the proceeds of the Honda Run to Foxhall Development Committee.

You may have met a few of us selling outside Kernans and McFaddens. We want to thank both places for facilitating the sales fundraiser outside their premises. We really appreciate the support. Thanks to all who bought tickets, plenty more left if you missed out! We will shortly be heading into the community and going house to house to sell!
We wish to thank Wilkins Bar & Lounge in Churchill for allowing sales on Sunday at half time during the match.

We wish to thank Harleys Bar, Trentagh for their support of sales also. We appreciate it all folks.

We wish to also thank Cllr. Michael McBride for his donation from his members development fund and his words of encouragement on our endeavours.

Caring for People Living with Dementia
On Wednesday 24th September Ards Friary is holding a day of emotional support and sharing for those caring for people living with dementia. This day will be led by Caroline Brown, facilitator, trainer and ex carer. Beginning at 10.30am and finishing at 4.00pm, it will include tea/coffee and a light lunch. Cost 50 euro. After the Irish Gathering this morning, a talk by Bishop McGuckian, Holy Mass and ,of course some pizza, the group from the Diocese of Raphoe visited the Bascilica of St John Lateran. Before hand, we stopped to pray and renewed our Baptismal Promises at the Baptistery there.
