The "Meaning of Grief" was reflected upon during our Annual Service of Prayer for the Bereaved in our parish, remembering our loved ones who passed away over the last 12 months. It was a chance for our hearts to speak the names of our Beloved Deceased once again to the Lord and entrust them to His loving arms. For our Beloved Deceased and all the Faithful Departed inscribed on the Parish List of the Dead, we pray that they will Rest in Peace.

25th Anniversary of Walterstown Children’s Choir: With great joy we will mark 25 years of the Walterstown Children’s Choir leading parishioners in sacred song at Sunday Mass. All previous choir members are invited to mark this special occasion at the 9:30am Mass on Sunday 7th December, and over a cuppa afterwards share some memories and songs since that first choir was formed!

Celebrate the Vigil Mass of All Saints in St Oliver’s Church, Navan on Friday, 31st Oct. at 6pm, followed by a Procession and Party for Children! It’s a fun way to get to know the lives of the saints, and to celebrate the joy of our heavenly brothers and sisters. Thanks be to God for the Harvest! With joy we celebrated our annual Harvest Mass in Thanksgiving to God for the blessing of the providential harvest again this year, for the hard work of our farming community and all who work the land and all who provide food for our tables.

Our harvest display, so much given by local farmers was donated to after Mass. A big thank you to all who gave for our display and set it up this morning. cllrfrancisdeane and Charlie Traynor pictured with the harvest display after Mass.

The hílls are gírded with jóy, *
the méadows cóvered with flócks,
the válleys are décked with whéat. *
They shóut for jóy, yes they síng.” Pslam64
