Loughrea Music Club: Between the Jigs and the Reels An evening of music, story and refreshments on Wednesday July 29th in Loughrea Library at 7.30 (sharp). Free admission but proceeds if desired to Mary Meals. This charity enables 3 million children attending school who otherwise would not be able to go because they are given one daily meal in their place of education. All Welcome.

Retirement We thank Dr Andrew Sargaison for his many years of service as doctor in Kiltormer and, we wish him many happy years in his retirement, we welcome Dr Marie Connelley to Kiltormer as our new Doctor and wish her they very best of good luck .

We welcome to the new group of servers in Lawrencetown and Kiltormer. May you enjoy your new role in the mass and may it strengthen your relationship with God even more. Many thanks to the senior servers who after at least 4 years of serving mass are nearing the end of their serving duties as they move to secondary school. Please keep attending mass and help serve God in other ways, such as reading at mass or singing in the choir.

Course in Theology - No Exams or Essays Beginning this September, Credenda is a part- time distance learning Beginners Course in Theology designed for adults who wish to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith. No previous knowledge of theology is required, and there are no exams or essays. It combines personal study with guided sessions led by Dominican tutors. We offer our deepest sympathies to Paddy and Joe Kelly and their families and to
the extended Kelly families on the death of Noel Kelly Lawrencetown and Leixlip, Kildare also we will remember in our prayers Tony Loughery Cregmahon and Killeen, Gort, Galway Son in Law of John and Vera (O’Brien) McNamara Clare who died during the week. May their soul rest in peace.

Cemetery Masses will be celebrated in Kiltormer Old Cemetery on Friday the 17th of July at 7pm, please pass the word on to your families and friends.

Congratulations to all members of 6th class in Lawrencetown and Kiltormer schools who graduated from Primary School this week. They go well prepared into to the next challenge of Secondary School; they go too with our blessings and with great gratitude to their teachers and the whole school community over the years.

Triduum in Honour of St Pier Giorgio Frassati - St Mary’s Dominican Church, the Claddagh. Please join us for a special Triduum in Honour of the Lay Dominican St Pier Giorgio Frassati from 3rd -5th July. There will be guest speakers speaking at the start of each Mass as well as reflections on the life, faith, and witness of this remarkable young Lay Dominican, who was canonized last year on the 7th of September on the same day as St Carlo Acutis.

Beginners Course in Theology - No Exams or Essays Beginning this September, Credenda is a part- time distance learning Beginners Course in Theology designed for adults who wish to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith. No previous knowledge of theology is required, and there are no exams or essays. It combines personal study with guided sessions led by Dominican tutors. Petitions to Lourdes Would You Like Your Petition/Thanksgiving: Intention to be brought to Lourdes/offered up at the sanctuary there? Petition envelopes for this purpose available in the church, in Kiltormer at both doors and at the door in Lawrencetown along with a small donation envelope. Your petition will travel to Lourdes at the end of June with a member of the inter-diocesan pilgrimage team.

Icon-Writing Workshop in St Mary’s, The Claddagh A two-day Icon Writing Workshop Retreat will take place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June in the room across from the side porch entrance.
