As the day of ordination draws near, we continue to pray for our brother Ian, who will be ordained a priest tomorrow in Ennis.

May the Holy Spirit guide and strengthen him in his ministry, and may his life always reflect the mercy, love, and simplicity of Christ in the spirit of Saint Francis of Assisi.

We would be grateful if you could remember him in your prayers

This Sunday, our brother Ian will be ordained to the priesthood in Ennis.

It is a moment of great joy for our Franciscan family and for all who have journeyed with him over the years. We invite you to keep him especially in your prayers this week — that he may always be a faithful servant of Christ, close to the poor, and filled with peace and joy.

Please also pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

“May the Lord give you peace.”

The Franciscan youth group were on pilgrimage yesterday to the beautiful ruins of Ross Errilly Franciscan Friary just outside Headford
Walking where generations of friars once prayed, preached, and lived the Gospel, we were reminded that the Franciscan spirit is still alive today: a life of fraternity, simplicity, joy, and following Christ in the footsteps of St Francis.
Grateful for a day of prayer, friendship, reflection, and connection with our rich Franciscan heritage🙌🙏✨
