St Mary's church are hosting the annual Ecumenical Harvest Service, followed by refreshments, on Friday 2nd October at 7.30pm where we will be joined by members of the IFA.

At each of our Harvest Festivals (below) there will be refreshments served after the service and each collection will be donated to Bishops' Appeal. All are most welcome.

There is a service of Holy Communion in St. Mary’s Church at 10.30am this morning. We meet every Thursday and we always enjoy tea and coffee together after the service. It is a very enjoyable way to gather on a Thursday morning and all are welcome.

Our Sunday School returns tomorrow after the summer break in Monart Church at 10am. We meet in the church and start the service together and after the first hymn the children and the Sunday school teachers leave and go to the old school house for their lesson.
New members are always welcome, feel free to come along and give it a try.

Sunday school gives our children an opportunity to learn Bible stories in an age appropriate way, they also enjoy crafts and games which are led by our wonderful Sunday school teachers.

Attached please find a revised Service Schedule for September.

There will now be no Service of Morning Prayer at 10am in St. Peter's church, Monart on Sunday 20th September and at 10am in St. Paul's church, Templescobin on Sunday 27th September. This is to facilitate the Harvest Services in both St. John's church, Clonmore and Monart which are scheduled to take place at the same time on both of these dates.

Some photos from our United 5th Sunday Service in Monart with our parish picnic in the Old School House. Sincere thanks to the parishioners of Monart for their hospitality. The picnic was moved indoors because of bad weather and we are grateful to those who prepared the old school house and made it so comfortable for us.

The parish newsletters for September are now available. Please see the new schedule of services with the revised Winter timetable - St Marys - 11.30am and our other 4 churches at 10am

Next Sunday, 30th August, we will be celebrating our United 5th Sunday Eucharist in St Peter's Church, Monart at 10.30am followed by our annual Parish Picnic. This will be the only service in our Union of Parishes on that day.

There will be an Ecumenical Service held in Our Lady's Island on Tuesday 1st September at 7.30pm where Fr. James Murphy will give the homily.

Refreshments will be served in the local Community Centre following the ceremony.

All are most welcome.
