This should be such a wonderful event in our beautiful and historic Church of Ireland Catherdral, St. Fachtnans, Kilfenora.

If you have never visited this Cathedral, this may be the time.

David Hykes is a composer-singer, teacher and mentor devoted to contemplative and compassionate musical practice and sharing for over 40 years.

Based in France, he has released 12 albums, performed and taught world-wide with his groups, and has served as a Contemplative Faculty member for the Mind and Life Institutes. He has worked with and presented on behalf of groups of many sizes, from the Disarmament rally in New York in 1982, with 800,000 people, to "harmonic meetings" with concert audiences, conference audiences, presentations in schools, and universities.

We have many artists performing in our church monthly all year around and it is very popular due to its renowned acoustics, intimate nature and very supportive musical community in Clare.

This beautiful old building is a small Protestant church in Spanish Point, near Milltown Malbay, County Clare.
It holds 80 people.
And it needs some TLC; some repair.
John Burke from The Armada Hotel approached me with the idea of an event to raise a few bob for the work needed.
on Sunday May 17, people can go to the Armada for a meal, then walk or bus to the church, where I will give a concert at 7pm.
It should be a lovely evening, and my hope is that this wonderful place can host many concerts in the future, especially for the many brilliant musicians and singers living locally.
