Drumcliffe Church of Ireland Ennis Co Clare, Bindon St/Bank Place, Ennis (2026)

Part of the Drumcliffe Union with Kilnasoolagh Church, we seek to provide a warm spiritual welcome, with an inclusive and optimistic vision for the future. We truly want to be a church of and for all people, of all ages, irrespective of background, sexuality, income or any of the other definitions that are too often used to distance people from one another. Therefore, our theology might be described as liberal or progressive Christianity - taking the Bible seriously and thoughtfully, but not literally, where the sacraments are celebrated simply and reverently. St Columba's was built between 1868 and 1871 and is an example of Gothic revival architecture. We host a wide variety of concerts ranging from traditional Irish music, through to classical, jazz, brass band and more besides. We are particularly interested in supporting young and emerging performers and local community groups.

We have had a number of enquiries from folks not familiar with Ennis about our location for Culture Night and other concerts.

Our church is in the heart of Ennis.

Our location is V95 W827 on Bindon Street/Bank Place.

There is limited parking onsite after 6pm only. Ample on street parking and a selection of carparks in walking distance.

New exciting news to share!

Anthony Kearns of The Irish Tenors has just confirmed his concert date at St.Columbas Church on October 10th.

We are delighted that Anthony has chosen our venue and it will be a real treat for everyone attending.

He will be joined on the night by the Quin and Tonic Choir and other well respected musicians.

Needless to say, tickets are selling fast so please share the word far and wide. Treat yourself and others to a wonderful night.

This should be such a wonderful event in our beautiful and historic Church of Ireland Catherdral, St. Fachtnans, Kilfenora.

If you have never visited this Cathedral, this may be the time.

David Hykes is a composer-singer, teacher and mentor devoted to contemplative and compassionate musical practice and sharing for over 40 years.

Based in France, he has released 12 albums, performed and taught world-wide with his groups, and has served as a Contemplative Faculty member for the Mind and Life Institutes. He has worked with and presented on behalf of groups of many sizes, from the Disarmament rally in New York in 1982, with 800,000 people, to "harmonic meetings" with concert audiences, conference audiences, presentations in schools, and universities.
