St. Mary’s Pastoral Council have arranged to provide transport to parishioners wishing to travel to Knock for the diocesan pilgrimage on Sunday 6th September. The coach will depart from St. Mary’s at midday and will then depart from Knock at 5pm. There will be no stop over for food so you may wish to bring a packed lunch. This year's Jubilee Mass was celebrated last night (9th May) and was a lovely event enjoyed by all present at St. Mary's. During the Mass we paid tribute to a number of couples from within the parish who were celebrating their silver, ruby and golden anniversaries. A special mention was also made for Christy and Ita Greene who this year are celebrating 69 years of marriage, Wow! Presentations were made to all jubilarians including a rather surprised Fr. Tom Healy who this year is celebrating his own ruby anniversary (40 years) since his ordination into the priesthood. Congratulations to all our jubilarians. 😄👏🙏 Photos by John McGerr.
