🐾⛪ We were delighted to welcome our four-legged friends and their families for a special service celebrating the joy, companionship and love that our pets bring into our lives. ❤️

We enjoyed an address from Kirsty McAdoo where we learned about her fascinating Phd study of cows, how God knows all the answers that might perplex us and reminding us of our duty as God's children to care for our pets and all animals always🐭😺🐕🐇🐮

There were plenty of wagging tails, 🐩🐁🐈‍⬛🐈🐕happy faces and lots of woofs and fun! Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a special occasion. 🐾

Last Sunday's school bag blessing service, followed by a bbq with bring and share picnic was a packed house at Christ Church Taney. It was wonderful to see everyone and catch up after the summer holidays. We gathered together, sang and prayed to wish all families every blessing for the school year ahead, then enjoyed food and fellowship in the parish centre afterwards.

Thank you to all who volunteered to set up, to those who cooked, baked and bbq'd, served ice cream and chocolate fountain skewers, tea& coffee or tided up afterwards to make last Sundays service and bbq picnic a huge ...& very delicious!!! success 🙌

Join us Sunday week for our Annual Pet Service!

The Annual Pet Service will take place on Sunday 13th September at our 10.15am Service.  This year our speaker will be Kirstie McAdoo who is a lecturer in Food Sustainability.  This is an opportunity to bring your pet/s to a service of blessing as we thank God for the enjoyment that our pets bring.  The Service will be held in the Church.

Taney Parish Golf Society annual golf outing will take place in Rathfarnham Golf Club on Sunday 27th September 2026. First Tee Off is 1pm. The outing is open to all parishioners and friends, ladies and gents. Should you wish to play and reserve a Tee Time please contact Peter Connor on 087 946 2494.
