The Green Church, COI Dundalk Known locally as the 'green church', St. Nicholas's was built in the 13th century. It was extensively St.

Nicholas' Church of Ireland, DUNDALK
The church, known locally as the Green Church, dates back to the early part of the 13th century when it was built at the time of the Norman conquests. In the late 1990s it was completely renovated and restored. Dundalk is close to the Northern Ireland border and the church is committed to peace and reconciliation.

Dundalk Select vestry and Louth County Council would like to invite you to attend an open day of St. Nicholas’s Church of Ireland, Dundalk on Saturday the 25th of April. The open day will include a talk on domestic, sexual and gender-based violence by Dr Kathleen Nallen, River Project, DKIT, a String trio performance led by Davide Forti and a talk and guided tour of the church and churchyard.
