🏛️ Discover the History of the Green Church 🏛️

As part of National Heritage Week 2026, the Old Dundalk Society invites you to a special guided tour of St Nicholas' Parish Church (The Green Church), Dundalk on Wednesday, 19 August, from 6.30pm – 8.30pm.

This year's Heritage Week theme is "Heritage at Risk", and the evening will feature a fascinating presentation by Trevor Patterson on the history of St Nicholas' Church, the challenges of preserving this important landmark, and the exciting conservation works planned for later this year.

The tour will also include visits to the beautifully restored Wellington Hall and Infant School, offering a unique opportunity to see the outstanding conservation work that has safeguarded these historic buildings for future generations.

☕ The evening will conclude with light refreshments in Wellington Hall.

🎟️ Admission is free and everyone is welcome.

Young Organist of the Year 2026

Warmest congratulations to Joseph Lisco, who was named Young Organist of the Year 2026 at the Newry Musical Feis.

Joseph was also delighted to receive the associated bursary, recognising his musical talent, dedication and hard work. This wonderful achievement will support and encourage him as he continues to develop his skills as an organist.

We are incredibly proud of Joseph and wish him every blessing and continued success in his musical journey.

What a beautiful morning of worship on The Sixth Sunday after Trinity. Together we celebrated Holy Communion outdoors, giving thanks for God's creation, fellowship and the blessing of our parish family.
A special thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the service so memorable.

☀️ Outdoor Worship at St. Nicholas Parish Church ⛪
On Sunday 12th July 2026, The Sixth Sunday after Trinity, we gathered in the beautiful church grounds of St. Nicholas Parish Church for a special outdoor celebration of Holy Communion.
Blessed with glorious sunshine and surrounded by God's wonderful creation, we came together in prayer, worship and fellowship, giving thanks for the many blessings of our parish community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and to all who helped make the service such a joyful and memorable occasion.

As Rev. Shirley Murphy and her son Dylan begin their journey to visit family in India, we send them our love and prayers. We wish them a safe journey, a wonderful time with their family, and God's blessing and protection throughout their travels. We look forward to welcoming them home again.
