St. Malachy’s Altar Boys’ Sodality 2025-2026 at our prize-giving last Friday. We are blessed at the Friary to have a large team of dedicated servers and lay leaders who assist in their formation (unfortunately, not all of them could make it for the photo!)
We meet every Friday for Catechesis and Liturgy training, followed by a game of football in the Friary Hall. The altar boys then serve at Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament and three weekend Masses. We are always looking for new servers so if any boy who has already made his First Communion is interested in joining our servers, please get in touch with us.
A big thank you to the boys, their families and the lay leaders of the Sodality for their commitment and dedication. It is greatly appreciated.

Our first session of the "Sacred Mysteries: An Introduction to the Seven Sacraments" course took place last night, where we covered the Sacraments in general as well as the Sacrament of Baptism. The theological debate was truly riveting!

There are still a limited number of places available on the course. If you are interested in joining, please register by email at [email protected] or sign up on the evening. Our next meeting will take place on Wednesday 13th May at 7pm.
