We remember and pray for Catherine Speller who has passed away, an amazing parishioner and worker in the Parish Office. A wonderful lady, a fantastic parishioner and friend to us all. May she rest in peace. Fr Brendan and all the parish team.
Catherine, went to God on the 27th December, 2023, Cypress Downs, Templeogue, D6W, formerly of Gulistan Cottages, Rathmines and St. Jude’s Parish Office, Templeogue.
Peacefully surrounded by her close family and friends in the care of the wonderful staff of St. James’s Hospital following an illness borne with great dignity and courage for many years.
Beloved wife of the late Stephen and much-loved mother of Amanda and Nicola. Catherine will be forever loved and dearly missed by her daughters, son-in-law Ciaran, mother-in-law Jean, brother-in-law Graham and sister-in-law Avril, cousins Norah, Rita and Margaret, extended family, a wide circle of friends and neighbours. Reunited once more with her darling husband Stephen, son Gavin, her mum Christina (Beth) and dad Jack.
May she Rest in Peace.
Reposing at her residence this Monday afternoon from 4pm with prayers at 6pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to the Church of St. Jude the Apostle, Templeogue arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Mt. Jerome Cemetery.
