Novena to the Most Precious Blood of Jesus
O infinite and eternal Majesty of God, Most Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I, Your most humble creature, adore and worship You with all the love, reverence, and submission that any creature can offer. In Your presence, and in the presence of the Most Holy Virgin Mary, Queen of Heaven, my Guardian Angel, my Holy Patrons, and the entire heavenly court, I declare that this prayer and petition, which I am about to offer to the merciful and compassionate Virgin Mary through the merits of the Precious Blood of Jesus, is made with a pure intention and above all for Your glory, for the salvation of my soul and the souls of my neighbours.
Therefore, O my God, Supreme Good, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, I confidently hope to receive the grace for which I humbly ask, because of the infinite merits of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus.
But what can I do in my present condition except confess to You, my God, all the sins I have committed until this day, asking once again to be cleansed in the Blood of Jesus? Yes, my God, I sincerely repent and grieve over them—not out of fear of the hell I have deserved, but because I have offended You, the Supreme Good. With the help of Your holy grace, I firmly resolve never again to offend You and to avoid every near occasion of sin. Have mercy on me, Lord, and forgive me. Amen.
We fly to thy protection, O Holy Mother of God. Despise not our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers, O glorious and blessed Virgin.
O God, come to my assistance.
O Lord, make haste to help me.

“You are all beautiful, O Mary, and original sin has never touched you.”
You are most pure, O Virgin Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth, Mother of God. I greet you, honour you, and bless you forever. O Mary, I come to you; I call upon you. Help me, O sweetest Mother of God. Help me, Queen of Heaven. Help me, most merciful Mother and Refuge of sinners. Help me, Mother of my sweetest Jesus.
Since there is nothing asked of you through the Passion of Jesus Christ that is not granted, I ask you with living faith to obtain for me the grace that lies so deeply upon my heart. I ask for it through the Divine Blood of Jesus, shed for our salvation. I will never cease to cry out to you until you hear me.
O Mother of Mercy, I trust that I shall obtain this grace because I ask for it through the infinite merits of the Most Precious Blood of your beloved Son.
O sweetest Mother, by the merits of the Most Precious Blood of your Divine Son, grant me the grace (here mention your intention).
1. I ask you, Most Holy Mother, through that pure, innocent, and blessed Blood which Jesus shed at His Circumcision on the eighth day after His birth.

2. I ask you, Most Holy Mary, through that pure, innocent, and blessed Blood which Jesus shed abundantly during His Agony in the Garden.

3. I beg you, Most Holy Mother, through that pure, innocent, and blessed Blood which Jesus shed abundantly when He was stripped, bound to the pillar, and cruelly scourged.

O Virgin Mary, by the merits of the Precious Blood of your Divine Son, intercede for me before the Heavenly Father.
4. I ask you, Most Holy Mother, through that pure, innocent, and blessed Blood that flowed from the Head of Jesus when He was crowned with the sharpest thorns.

5. I ask you, Most Holy Mother, through that pure, innocent, and blessed Blood which Jesus shed while carrying His Cross on the way to Calvary, especially through that living Blood mingled with the tears that you shed as you accompanied Him in His supreme sacrifice.

O Virgin Mary, by the merits of the Precious Blood of your Divine Son, intercede for me before the Heavenly Father.
6. I beg you, Most Holy Mother, through that pure, innocent, and blessed Blood that flowed from the Body of Jesus when He was stripped of His garments, through the Blood He shed from His Hands and Feet when He was nailed to the Cross with heavy and piercing nails, and especially through the Blood He shed during His most bitter and agonising death.

O Virgin Mary, by the merits of the Precious Blood of your Divine Son, intercede for me before the Heavenly Father.
7. Hear me, O most pure Virgin and Mother Mary, through that sweetest and mystical Blood and Water which flowed from the Side of Jesus when His Heart was pierced by the soldier’s lance. Through that most Precious Blood, grant me, O Virgin Mary, the grace for which I ask. Through that Most Precious Blood, which I deeply honour and which is my drink upon the altar of the Lord, hear me, O merciful and loving Virgin Mary.

O Virgin Mary, by the merits of the Precious Blood of your Divine Son, intercede for me before the Heavenly Father.
Angels and all the Saints in Heaven, who behold the glory of God, unite your prayers with those of our dear Mother and Queen, the Blessed Virgin Mary. Obtain for me from the Heavenly Father the grace I ask through the merits of the Precious Blood of our Divine Redeemer.
I also turn to you, Holy Souls in Purgatory. Pray for me and ask the Heavenly Father for the grace I seek through the Most Precious Blood that my Saviour and yours shed from His Most Holy Wounds. I, too, offer to the Eternal Father the Most Precious Blood of Jesus on your behalf, that you may come to enjoy Him forever and praise Him eternally in Heaven, singing:
“You have redeemed us, O Lord God, by Your Blood and made us a kingdom for our God.” Amen.
O good and beloved Lord God, sweet and merciful, have mercy on me and on all souls, both living and departed, whom You have redeemed by Your Most Precious Blood. Amen.
