PRESS ON — THE JESUS WAY!

Stop looking back! Stop allowing your past, your failures, your pain or your disappointments to hold you captive.

Rise up. Let go. Trust Jesus. Take the next step.

Don’t quit. Don’t go back. Don’t give up.
PRESS ON!

Your past is not your destination. Your struggle is not the end of your story. Keep your eyes on JESUS and keep moving toward the purpose GOD has called you to!

Today, make a decision: I will not turn back.
I WILL PRESS ON!

Philippians 3:13-14

“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

No matter the circumstance, whether online or in person, we will not give up meeting together.

We will keep showing up, encouraging one another, praying for one another, and reminding each other that we are never alone.

Distance may separate us physically, but it will never separate us in faith.

Together, we PRESS ON!

2 Peter 1:3
By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.

Come and join us our weekly lifegroup

SPIRIT EMPOWERED: The Greater Gift

“Pursue love,” Paul begins, “and keep on eagerly desiring spiritual manifestations, especially that you might prophesy” (1 Cor 14:1).

Paul tells us to strive for spiritual gifts, “especially that you might prophesy” (1 Cor 14:1). One who prophesies is able to build up the body, to offer encouragement and comfort to those gathered (1 Cor 14:3-4).

* The Greater Gift is one that builds up the Church

Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.

We need to have the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Pursue the love of God first. Love is the foundation of every gift. Seek the giver, not the gifts.

* The Greater Gift is the one that leads people to Faith

Our testimony is the best example that we can share to non-believers. The power of the Holy Spirit is within us, that we can lead people to Him.

Prioritize intimacy with the LORD.

“The one thing I ask of the LORD—the thing I seek most—is to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, delighting in the LORD’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.”
Psalm 27:4 (NLT)

David’s greatest pursuit was not power, success, or comfort, it was the presence of GOD.

May this be our heart as well.

1. I’m desperate for GOD’s presence.
2. I’m desperate for GOD’s Word.
3. I’m desperate for GOD’s church.

When intimacy with the LORD becomes our highest priority, everything else begins to align with HIS purpose.

A Blessed Sunday!😇

Season of preparation

“Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.”
Proverbs 6:6–8

Just as the ant faithfully prepares during the right season, GOD calls us to be diligent and faithful in our season of preparation. What we do today in obedience, prayer, and perseverance becomes the foundation for what GOD has planned tomorrow.

Preparation is never wasted when it is done with GOD.

GOD designed the Church to be like a body, many parts working together as one. Diversity in gifts is GOD’s plan and unity is GOD’s goal. When each believer faithfully uses their gifts with humility and love, the whole body grows stronger and brings glory to Christ.

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” (1 Corinthians 12:27)

TOUCH OF FAITH

Mark 5:24-34
24 So Jesus went with him.
A large crowd followed and pressed around him. 25 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. 26 She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, 28 because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” 29 Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.
30 At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?”
31 “You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who
touched me?’ ”
32 But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. 33 Then the woman, knowing what had
happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. 34 He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”

The story of Mark 5:24–34 teaches us that faith begins by hearing GOD’s Word, grows through trust in JESUS and is shown through action. The woman believed in JESUS, reached out to HIM in faith, humbled herself at HIS feet and experienced healing and peace.

Through this passage, we also see the deep love and compassion of GOD, a love that accepts, restores, and gives us security. When we come to JESUS with sincere faith, we can trust that HE sees us, cares for us and responds with grace.
