From the Bishop’s Desk: New Year Exhortations!

As we step into 2025, God inspired us by His Spirit to declare 2025, Year of Destiny. It is a year where the children of God will arrive at the places divinely ordained for their lives.

Just as Esther found herself positioned in the palace “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14), I believe that this year, you too will step into the fullness of your purpose and walk boldly into your destiny.

In Matthew 2:1-10, the wise men encountered challenges, including Herod’s schemes, but they remained steadfast, following the star until they arrived at the place where Jesus was. Similarly, in 2025, no obstacle, distraction, or delay will keep you from reaching the place God has prepared for you.

Simeon, led by the Holy Spirit, waited patiently for the promise of God to be fulfilled (Luke 2:25-35). At the appointed time, he held the Messiah in his arms, proclaiming, “My eyes have seen Your salvation.” (Luke 2:30).

This is a reminder that God’s promises are sure, and 2025 will be a year of fulfilled promises and manifested destinies.

I declare and decree that this year;

1. The hand of God will guide you to the place of your destiny.
2. Every plan of the enemy, like Herod’s, will be thwarted, and you will move forward without hindrance.
3. The promises of God spoken over your life will come to pass, and you will testify of His faithfulness.
4. Like Esther, you will recognize the purpose of your positioning and fulfill the assignment God has entrusted to you.
5. Like Simeon, you will see and hold the promises of God that you have long awaited.
6. The lord shall give you the “spirit of urgency” ie an attitude or mindset characterized by a strong sense of importance and a proactive drive to take immediate action.
7. You shall be highly motivated, focused, and committed to address tasks or issues without unnecessary delay.
8. You shall testify!

I wish you a year filled with divine favor, clarity of purpose, and supernatural breakthroughs. May you walk boldly in the steps God has ordered for you, and may your testimony draw others to His kingdom.

As we journey through 2025, remember that God’s plans for you are good, and He will lead you to your place of destiny. Be expectant, be steadfast, and know that 2025 is your year to fulfill promises and meet your divine purpose.

We won’t meet today. May the Lord be with you as you crossover tonight!!!!

Bishopric exhortations!

As we stand at the threshold of the close of another year, my heart is full of gratitude to God for His faithfulness and mercy. Truly, we can proclaim like Samuel in 1 Samuel 7:12: “Thus far the Lord has helped us.” Ebenezer, Jehovah our Helper, has been with us every step of the way.

This year, we faced challenges, celebrated victories, and experienced growth both individually and as a church body. Through it all, God has remained our rock, our refuge, and our provider. As the Psalmist declares in Psalm 124:8, “Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”

Let us take a moment to reflect on God’s goodness:

• He sustained us through trials and gave us strength when we felt weak.
• He answered our prayers in ways seen and unseen.
• He carried us through seasons of joy and sorrow, reminding us that His plans for us are always for our good (Jeremiah 29:11).

As we celebrate Christmas, let us remember the greatest gift of all—Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. In Luke 2:11, the angel declared: “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.” Let this Christmas season remind us of the love, hope, and peace that Jesus brings into our lives.

I encourage us to carry the light of Christ into 2025. Let us grow in love, unity, and service to one another, fulfilling the words of Philippians 1:6: “Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

As we celebrate this season, may we remember to share God’s love with those around us—especially the needy, the lonely, and the brokenhearted. Let our joy overflow into acts of kindness and generosity.

From my heart to yours, I thank you all for your faithfulness, prayers, and support throughout this year. May the Lord bless you abundantly, keep you safe, and fill your homes with peace and joy.
