On July 3rd Jeremias obeyed the gospel and was added to the church of our risen Lord. Jeremias then went and brought the good news to his sister Rebecca, who tonight, “at that very hour” (Acts 16:33) was baptised in Killiney! Rejoice with us!
Tonight, Rebecca obeyed the gospel of Christ and was baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38), becoming a child of God by faith through baptism (Galatians 3:26–27).
Rebecca is now washed, sanctified, and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God (1 Corinthians 6:11).
We praise God and welcome our new sister in Christ with love and thanksgiving! (Luke 15:7). "For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God." — Colossians 3:3

Most people think faith is blind. But real faith is about trust—trusting something solid.
The Bible says, "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ." —Romans 10:17 (NASB)
It’s not about tradition or feelings. It’s about listening to what Jesus said and living by it. Try reading just one thing, were here to help.

Open your Bible. Start small. Start real.

As a parent, it is a challenge to lead your family faithfully to Jesus. Did you know that the Apostle Paul said in 1st Corinthians 14 33, God is not a God of confusion. Man made denominations and doctrines are leading sincere truth seekers astray! But there is clear guidance found in scripture. In John 17 17, Jesus prayed to God, saying, Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth. Truth isn't just a concept or a feeling; the truth that saves is grounded in the Word of God. This word of God guides our lives, our decisions, and our hearts. Are you searching for truth today. Turn away from man made doctrines and back to the Bible, and let God's word illuminate your path. churchofchristIreland.ie
