WHY WE NEED TO PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.1Thess5:17

Lam.3:41 says "Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens."

Good morning! By scriptural standard, we all know that prayer is a non-negotiable instrument in the hand of a believer who wants to stay in touch with heaven. The act of prayer teaches us our own unworthiness. This is a very important lesson for proud beings like us. If God gave us favours without asking us to pray for them, we would never know how poor we were. Through true prayer, we stake our claim on divine wealth, but we also confess our human emptiness. The healthiest state for a Christian is to be always empty of self and constantly dependent on the Lord for supplies - poor in self and rich in Christ Jesus. That is why we pray.
Prayer turns human folly into heavenly wisdom and gives to trouble mortals the peace of God.
We thank You, great God, for Your mercy seat. You prove Your marvellous loving-kindness every time You hear our prayers. Remember to pray without ceasing, the master is on hand to hear you without ceasing.God bless you richly this week and beyond. Amen.

Good afternoon brethren! Good news! I am pleased to announce to you this morning that God is never too late. He was never late and can never be late. Please mark my words! His name is “I AM”. The word “I AM” is a present continuous tense. The bible says In Exo 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. He is saying, I am always present. He is omnipresent. He said in Psa 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”. He is the God of the living, not the God of the dead. “Luke 20:38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him”. If you are alive unto Him, your case is not closed. Oh my God! I want to provoke you to a radical faith level this afternoon by the Holy Spirit. He says in Eccles 9:4 “For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion”. When the God of the living is with you, unimaginable blessings become your usual experience. Listen to me, because you are sincere in your service unto this great God, you have entered your crowning season in the name of Jesus. By the power of I AM, your marital challenge is over this day! You are getting that dream job this time! Your suitor is locating you this season! You will be confirmed pregnant this season! You will be gloriously married this year! Whoever is sitting on your paper / application in whatever area of endeavour is unseated now in the name of Jesus. That life-threatening sickness is swallowed up in victory! Your financial struggle is over! All your disappointment is converted to reappointment in the name of Jesus. Congratulations! God is too faithful to fail. Somebody shout Hallelujah!

Good morning! Often time people wonder why God is not moving in their lives as they aspire to see, inspite of their religious posture. The reason is not far fetched. Majority of God's people have gone for the "god of gold'. The slogan is 'go to church and get rich'. So the motivation to go to church is to become rich. This malady has pushed a very vital attribute of God to the back burner. Purity is a commodity that can not be substituted in the Kingdom. It is good to go to church always, pray and fast and evangelise. All these must be on the platform of purity if we want to see God. God cannot be impressed on our terms. The Bible says in Matthew 5:7 "blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God'. To see God means you will see his acts in your life but purity is the anchor. To be pure in heart means to be sincere in purpose, as you render your service to Him no matter who is watching and wherever we find ourself.
Brethren, no one ever get hold of God without holiness. Bible says
"Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
Hebrews 12:14 NIV"
God is not as distant as you were made to believe. He lives in your heart. It takes purity to experience Him in His full capacity. The best is about to come your way. Be highly favoured in the name of Jesus. Jesus is Lord.
