Dear Friends and Supporters of the Gardiner Street Gospel Choir,

It is with deep deep sadness that we have to inform you that
after 25 years of service, unfortunately St. Francis Xavier Church in
Gardiner Street has decided that the Sunday evening slot every 4 weeks will NOT be available to us any longer.

Consequently, the Gardiner Street Gospel Choir Mass will come to a
sudden and unexpected end and we are all distraught about it.

We are currently looking at all options, so see what we can do from here and we will inform you in due course.

We also want to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the amazing support you gave us over all these years. We couldn't have achieved 25 years without you.

All current and former singers, all band members and all our Musical Directors: THANK YOU sooo much!!!

It is with a sad heart that we mourn the loss of one of our founding past members of GSGC this week.
Anne-Marie Redmond was a central figure in the early years of the choir, and her beautiful unique voice can be heard in solos & duets on our early recordings including the One Love album.
It has been a bitter sweet experience going down memory lane with a huge number of previous members over the past week, remembering Annie and the great times all the choir and band have had through the years through a shared love of music and performance in GSGC.

RIP Annie 🙏

A very big thank you to everyone who came on Friday night. Love is Christmas. What a very special evening it was. A special shoutout to our director for bringing the whole thing together and for all the hard work from our stage manager Joerg on the night.

Thank you to everyone for their continued support for the choir. Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas and we look forward to seeing you all in 2025! ❤️
