Arzúa to Amenal: 22.11km

A long day but a good day
* started by receiving a stamp on our credencial and a prayer card to Our Lady - from Las Hijas de Santa Maria de La Providencia.
* it was busy on the Way today.
* walked a little with a couple from North Caroline, two lads from Derry, another from Belfast, a couple from Cavan, Pílar from Malaga, and others.
* spent lots of time too on an almost deserted path through woodland with lots of birdsong for company.
* it’s good to see that Galicians and pilgrims are not forgetting Palestine
* found some nice reminders again that we are loved by God
* temperature climbed steadily to 31C on our second longest stretch … was so very glad to reach our stopping point !

Melide to Arzúa = 14.33km
A really hot day from the start and it climbed to 33 celcius !
As we get closer to Santiago de Compostela, there are more and more pilgrims on the Way.
So many of the little churches on the way were closed today BUT there was Pilgrim Mass at 7pm in the Parish Church - thank God !
Stunning skies all day!
