A place to join the journey of discipleship to Jesus

02/01/2026

As this year draws to a close, we would like to share a heartfelt note of gratitude and farewell.

For the past two years, it has been our privilege to serve as the Communications Department team. While this role often worked quietly behind the scenes, it has truly been a ministry of service — one carried out with prayer, purpose, and faith.
Social media may be an invisible ministry, but we trust that God has used it to touch hearts, encourage souls, and uplift lives. Through our Motivational Monday posts and shared messages of hope, we pray that seeds were planted and faith strengthened.

“So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.”
— 1 Corinthians 3:7 (NKJV)

To everyone who followed, liked, shared, commented, and supported this page — thank you. Your engagement, encouragement, and prayers have meant more than words can express.
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NKJV)

From January 2026, a new team will be taking over this role. We would like to wish them every success as they step into this ministry. May the Lord guide their creativity, bless their efforts, and use their work for His glory.

As we step away, our prayer remains that this platform will continue to reflect Christ’s love and serve as a light in the digital space.

With gratitude and blessings,
Mariann on behalf of the Comms team

“Present in Church but Absent in Christ?”

It’s possible to sit in church every Sabbath, sing the hymns, participate in the programs, and still miss the very Person the worship is about Jesus Christ. Attendance is important, but Christ desires something deeper: a heart truly connected to Him.

Many believers fall into the habit of routine. We know when to stand, when to pray, and what to say. Yet inside, our minds may wander, our hearts may be cold, and our faith may be shallow. Jesus warns His followers about worship that is outwardly correct but inwardly empty.

To be present in Christ, we must go beyond motions and enter a relationship. This means:
• Talking to Him in honest prayer
• Reading His Word not just for knowledge but for transformation
• Letting the Holy Spirit shape our character
• Serving others with love that reflects Jesus

True worship begins when the heart bows before God long before the body enters the church building.
