Christian Assembly Abbey Street

Christian Assembly Abbey Street Christian Assembly is a welcoming community of Christians meeting regularly in the centre of Dublin.

We meet above the Christian bookstore at 110 Middle Abbey Street. Christian Assembly came into being in a small cottage in Rialto in 1976. A group of Dubliners began to study the scriptures together. Stanley Mawhinney eventually became the first pastor of the church when it moved to Essex Street a few years later. As the church grew in size, it relocated to 110 Middle Abbey Street in 1979. Since t

hen the community of believers have committed themselves to the transforming message of the Gospel by meeting together regularly and encouraging one another to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.
