Good morning

Good morning. It is lovely having you here with us in Clonard Monastery, Belfast for this time of prayer at the beginning of Friday, June 19th. Thank you for taking the time to pray with us and for us. May God bless you and all your loved ones with joy throughout today.

Today is the Third Day of the Novena in honour of Our Mother of Perpetual Help here in Clonard. The theme for this day is: Building a Church where women feel at home. The homily today will be delivered by Claire Deane. Claire is a wife, mother, and teacher. She is a familiar face at Clonard, having been involved with the Clonard Folk Group for many years. Claire has also been involved with the Redemptorists on Youth Ministry and Novenas.

Please join us, either in Church or online, for one of the Novena Masses throughout today: 6.45 am; 9.30 am; 11.30 am; 4.00 pm; 6.00 pm; 8.00 pm.

The wider Church celebrates today the memorial of St. Romuald. He was a monk who lived a life of strict penance and solitude. He established many monasteries, especially in Tuscany. He died in 1027.
