𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝘄?

Recognizing the distinction between grace and the law helps us align with God’s intention. Through these series we want to find out what the Bible says about living under grace and the purpose of law.

This week, we’re diving into the core truths of what we believe as Christians.

Faith is more than just agreeing with doctrines—it’s receiving Christ into our very being and experiencing Him as our reality.

James 2:19 gives us a warning, "You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe and, they tremble." Just acknowledging Christ therefore is not enough. We have to receive Him, accept Him into our very being, and have the realization that He came to live in us to make us His brothers, God's very children.

From the faith joining us with Christ to the union that makes His history ours, these truths form the foundation of our walk with God. Genuine faith isn’t hollow or purely mental—it substantiates the invisible and joins us in life with Christ Himself.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗼𝗱'𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄.

In 1 Timothy 3:15, Paul writes, “that you may know how one ought to conduct himself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God.” The church is exceedingly precious to God, and understanding the church as the house of God can profoundly affect our daily Christian life.

The church is the house of God in two senses: it is His dwelling place and also His family.

Here are 5 truths about the house of God:
1. God’s House is Two-Fold (Luke 19:5; 2 Tim. 1:16; 4:19)
2. God’s House is in His People (Isaiah 66:1; 1 Cor. 3:16)
3. God’s House is Living Stones (1 Pet. 2:5)
4. God’s House is Our Family (Eph. 2:19)
5. God’s House is Growing (Eph. 2:21-22)

As believers in Christ, we endeavor to see things as God does. The church is God’s dwelling place and our spiritual family. If we see this truth, it will elevate our appreciation for the church and reorient our Christian life. Our personal spiritual growth in life and our relationship with other believers can align with what is on God’s heart, His church.
