It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Con Lynch, a beloved ambassador for the Deaf community, a tireless advocate, loyal friend, and guiding light to many. His dedication and passion for helping others knew no bounds. Whether cheering on Cork with unmatched pride or working to uplift those around him, Con’s kindness and generosity touched countless lives.

A pillar within the Deaf community, he was always ready to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, or simply share a smile. His leadership and spirit of inclusion inspired many and made a lasting difference.

Con was truly an icon, his warmth, energy, and commitment brought people together and made the world better. As we mourn his loss, we give thanks for the gift of his life, his example, and his love.

May the Lord grant him eternal rest and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. (Matthew 5:8,)

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

During our Lourdes Dublin Pilgrimage, we lit a candle for the Deaf community and for all those who have passed away. May Our Lady of Lourdes, Mother of Mercy, keep us always in her loving care and intercession. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.
