🎄 A Memory from Christmas 2018 🎄
In December 2018, The Irish Sun celebrated Ireland's "Christmas Heroes" — the selfless people who gave up their own Christmas Day to serve others.

Among those heroes were the volunteers of Christmas Day Dinner.

Fast forward to Christmas Day 2026.
❤️ 102 Christmas Days of service. ❤️ 102 years of community. ❤️ 102 years of making sure no one is alone.

📊 Child Homelessness in Dublin Rising

New figures reported by gript reveal a 19% increase in child homelessness in Dublin in the last year — a deeply concerning reality for our community.

Today, more than 17,500 people are without a home, including over 5,500 children. Behind every number is a story, a family, and a child who deserves safety, stability, and hope.
This is why initiatives like the Christmas Day Dinner, organised by the Knights of St.

Columbanus, matter more than ever. For over 100 years, it has provided not just meals, but dignity, connection, and support to those most in need.
