📊 Child Homelessness in Dublin Rising

New figures reported by gript reveal a 19% increase in child homelessness in Dublin in the last year — a deeply concerning reality for our community.

Today, more than 17,500 people are without a home, including over 5,500 children. Behind every number is a story, a family, and a child who deserves safety, stability, and hope.
This is why initiatives like the Christmas Day Dinner, organised by the Knights of St.

Columbanus, matter more than ever. For over 100 years, it has provided not just meals, but dignity, connection, and support to those most in need.

🎄 A warm meal
❤️ A welcoming space
🤝 A reminder that no one is forgotten
As we look ahead to the 102nd edition, the mission continues — to stand with those facing hardship and bring light where it’s needed most.
