Below are services and events happening this coming week –
YOUTH GROUP continues TONIGHT Friday (11th September) from 7.30pm at the church, for all those in Secondary School. Come along, bring a friend, for an evening of games, chat Bible Study (Acts) and fun. All welcome.
This SUNDAY MORNING, (13th September) at 10.30am we will gather for corporate worship led by Glen McBride (Assistant Minister). We will continue our new sermon series from the Book of Acts, ‘To the Ends of the Earth’ looking at Acts 1:12-26 ‘The Replacement of Judas’

Refreshments are available in the foyer, after the service. All are welcome to stay.
SUNDAY SCHOOL is available this Sunday (13th September) for all children 3+ to 6th Class. Children will be split into 4 Classes (Beginners for pre-schoolers (age 3+), Juniors for Junior & Senior Infants, Inters for 1st, 2nd & 3rd class and Seniors for those in 4th, 5th and 5th class)
The Self-Service Crèche room is available for those with small babies (0-3yrs).
LADIES’ BOOKGROUP - restarts THIS SUNDAY (13th September). This is an opportunity open to all women in the church to catch-up with one another once a month and also to fellowship together as we chat about the chapter we’ve been reading. Bookgroup will continue as before meeting on the second Sunday of each month at 7pm in the church. This year we are excited to read ‘From Crimson to White’ by Natalie Brand. Order a copy of the book for €7 from Ann or Sarah and start reading, ready to discuss chapter 1 when we restart on Sunday 13th September.
The GATHERING - will take place on Wednesday (16th Sept), at 7.45pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet for mid-week fellowship, Bible study and prayer. This week we will be looking at ‘Works – Good works are an expression of Faith’ led by Glen McBride (Assistant Minister). Refreshments service from 7.45pm. All welcome.
DPC TODDLER GROUP – meets again on Thursday (17th September) from 9.30am until 11.30am for all kiddies 0 – preschool age. To book your place please use the following link https://droghedapc.churchsuite.com/events/uq7mqalz We look forward to welcoming you to the group.
YOUNG ADULTS GROUP – will meet NEXT SATURDAY (19th September), at the home of Adas & Tracey Rakauskas, in Grangerath. The grill will be fired up for a meal and social evening together. For more information speak to Adas.
NEXT SUNDAY (20th September) at 10.30am we will gather again for corporate worship led by Rev Damien Burke. We will continue our series from the Book of Acts looking at Acts 2:1-21 ’Pentecost I’
Following the service NEXT SUNDAY (20th Sept) will we share together in a CHURCH PICNIC. Please bring your own sandwiches/salads and rugs/chairs. Tea and coffee will be provided. If it is wet, we will move this event indoors to the hall. All welcome to stay.

FOOTBALL & BADMINTON
Football is happening on Saturdays at 11am. Contact person is Theo Douglas.
Badminton is on Tuesday evenings in the church at 7:30pm.
PRAYER & PASTORAL SUPPORT
Please remember our church elders are always available to pray or support you or your family. You can reach out to any of the church elders, or make use of the prayer box in the church foyer, if we can support or encourage you in any way.
