Please keep a look out 👀 on Sunday morning next 31st May as The Circuit of Munster Stages Rally 2026 is taking place in Cappamore and Doon and surrounding areas.
Expect some delays around the place due to road closures. If you go out to watch make sure to spectate safely and listen to the marshals. Please note that to ensure spectator safety and manage the rolling road closures, exact stage maps are typically restricted to official event programmes and safety packs sold locally on the morning of the rally.

The event is headquartered at IPS Packaging in Annacotty Business Park, Co. Limerick, and features
110km of competitive stages using a compact 3-stage, 3-loop format.

The Pray for Life Novena is an invitation to join thousands of people across Ireland to pray for the protection of human life, from Saturday 23rd May to Sunday 31st May. Each day’s intention is accompanied by a short reflection and suggested actions to help build a culture of life in Ireland. National Epilepsy Week 2026 takes place on 18th May - 25th May. For further information, please visit www.epilepsy.ie/content/national-epilepsy-week-2026-epilepsyweek.

Light Up Doon for Christmas & Christmas fair events for 2026. May 22nd 80's fancy dress table quiz in GD's, from 9pm. All funds raised goes towards the Christmas lights and the upcoming fair at the end of November. It promises to be a fun night with plenty of music, laughter and good vibes. Prizes for the best dressed table, plus awards for first and second place in the quiz. Entry is €40 per table, and all are welcome.

Anam Cara, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, will hold its monthly Parent Support Evening on Wednesday 20th May 2026 at 7.30pm in the Horse and Jockey Hotel, Thurles.This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or how recent their death was. Annual Holy Well Mass:
In Curraghnaboul, Dromkeen will take place on Wednesday 20th May at 7.30pm. Assemble at 7pm sharp at road gate V94E8W5 as usual to walk-in from road together. Ample car parking alongside. All are welcome.
