THE GREAT COMMISSION
You have a divine commission to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Jesus said: “…Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).
The mission of every believer is to place the jewel of a soul in the crown of the saviour. To reveal Christ to the people in whom he died. That the fulness of redemption can be maximize in the people whom he died for.
1 Corinthians 9:16- For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
Soul winning is every believers ministry. To make disciples is the foremost and most important command of the great commission.
A disciple is not just a member, or Church goer, a disciple is someone who has committed their life to following Christ and given strict adherence to the teachings in their local assembly.
A disciple of Jesus imitates and follows Jesus’ example, believes in his sacrifice, death, burial and resurrection.
To make disciples means to teach or train people to follow and obey Christ.
Let’s pray:
Dear Lord, thank you for the oblation of your sacrifice for me, that saved and redeemed me so that I can be reconciled with you and to embody the ministry of reconciliation calling men back to the cross of Jesus, calling men to awake and arise from the dead so that they may receive the light of Christ.
Amen.
