The death has occurred of Steve WALSH
Tivoli, Cork
It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Steve (Stephen) Walsh, Tivoli, Cork, who passed away on 14th August 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful and exceptional care of the staff at St. Bernadette’s Ward at the Bons Secours, Hospital, Cork.
Steve (Late of ESB Marina and Mayfield GAA).
Dearly beloved husband of Alice (née Mulholland). Devoted father of Stephen, Teresa (Page) and Gary. Predeceased by his brother Tom.
Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, grandchildren Amy, Sophie, Kyle, Aaron, Rebecca, Jamie, Stephen, Andrew, brother Jerry, sisters Vera, Mary, Pam, Chris, Pat, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
May Steve’s Soul Rest in Peace
Reposing at Keohane’s Funeral Home, Knights Hill, Old Youghal Road, Mayfield, Cork, on Sunday, the 16th August, from 3:00 – 4:00pm, with prayers at 3:45pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, the 17th August at 1:00 pm at the Church of Our Lady Crowned, Mayfield, Followed by cremation at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
Family flowers only, donations in Steve’s memory can be made to Irish Cancer Society.
The family would like to thank Doctors, Nurses and Staff of St. Bernadette’s Ward at the Bons Secours, Hospital, Cork, for their kindness and exceptional care shown to Steve during his time with them.
