This Friday, St Colman's Cathedral will celebrate Culture Night with a special carillon recital by Cathedral Carillonneur Adrian Gebruers as part of the 99th Cobh Carillon Season 2026.

Adrian's artistry and deep connection to the bells have made his performances a cherished part of Cobh's cultural life. His recital will fill the evening air with music that honours tradition and community.

This Sunday, St Colman's Cathedral welcomes guest carillonneur Marcel Siebers from the Netherlands for a special recital as part of the 99th Cobh Carillon Season 2026.

Marcel is an award‑winning musician and composer, holding master's degrees from the Arnhem Music Conservatory and the Netherlands Carillon School in Amersfoort. He serves as carillonneur of Cuijk, Doetinchem, and Venlo, and is a member of the Limburg Composers Foundation. His compositions for carillon and other ensembles have earned international recognition for their creativity and craftsmanship.

ALPHA COURSE - COBH CATHEDRAL PARISH- Is there more to life than this?

Starting: Monday, 14th September

Each session begins with food (sweet / savoury treats - tea and coffee, followed by a lively presentation of a Christian topic and time for exploring the real meaning of life.

The Alpha course will run over 13 weeks - from September 14th to December 7th (with a break for mid-term) at the Parish Centre near the Cathedral.

Invite your friends and come along and all are welcome.

A special concert to honour more than 30 years of Liam Lawton’s contribution to liturgical music.

St Colman’s Cathedral in Cobh is proud to present a very special concert celebrating the music of renowned composer and long-standing friend of the Cathedral, Fr Liam Lawton.
